Presoaking

Before beginning the presoaking process, sort the soiled goods; items that aren’t colourfast should be soaked alone or with other items of a similar hue for a brief time.
The soaking water could benefit from adding bleach, laundry detergent, or an enzyme presoak product. However, enzyme treatments should not be used on silk or wool, and it is not a good idea to use chlorine bleach alongside an enzyme product. Presoak items in clean water, but always give them a good rinse before putting them in the wash if you’ve added anything to the presoak water. When the item is washed, there shouldn’t be any trace of the presoak product remaining within.
Scraping
Crusty stains and surplus semi-sold staining substances can be scraped off using a scraper. Even though scraping may not remove a stain completely, it is typically required before applying a stain remover since it allows the stain remover to access the surface more.
